Sinéad and I made an evening hike up Mt. Major last night. It was another hike in a series of prep hikes for Mt. Washington. We didn't record the hike, but we made it to the summit faster than the previous hikes. Once there we took in what could be described as a muted sunset. It was still well worth the view, and I grabbed a few shots before we made our way back down to the car.

It was a beautiful day and Sinéad was stuck working, so I took a little adventure up to the White Mountains for the morning. I had been wanting to see some decent waterfalls, but didn't want to take too long of a hike in the process. News of 3 waterfalls in what looked to be a single nearly mile long hike had found its way to my attention, so I took the opportunity to have a little road trip.

Sinéad and I had the opportunity to again go to the New England Revolution - Day on the Pitch at Gillette Stadium. We were concerned about clouds and crowds, but were very fortunate on both fronts. There was some traffic backups on rt. 128, but that's just par for the course when encountering that multi-lane segment of lost faith in humanity.

Sinéad and I met up with her uncle Doug to make to enjoy a quick hike up the lakes region's Mt. Major. It was a nice, quick little hike, of which both Sinéad and I fared far better than we anticipated. Uncle Doug was in pretty good shape, so we were working to keep up with his pace. For the majority, we did fairly well (a couple quick pit stops aside).

Sinéad and I had been planning to hike Mt. Major in part of our training regiment for the Seek the Peak hike up Mt. Washington. We had asked our nephew Andy if he was feeling up for the hike, and he was all to excited to join us. Day of the hike we decided to change our plans. Sinéad wasn't feeling too up to a full fledged hike, so we decided on another adventure. We went to Franconia Notch State Park to show Andy some of my favorite places to visit when I was about his age.

Sinéad and I started off our Sunday at a snails pace. We were both in great need of some relaxation time after celebrating my friend Aaron's wedding the day before. It wasn't too long before a tantalizing proposition came our way. And, it wasn't much longer after that till we were on the road to our next adventure.

Sinéad had found out about the Harlem Ambassadors through the Rotaract club in Keene. She was interested in helping out, and mentioned I could probably help out on the photo front. They took her up on the suggestion, and I took them up on the request. It was a great event, and I had a blast taking the photos!
