Sinéad and I went on a little adventure, last night, to see our friend Laina Barakat perform at the Sumner Knight Chapel. Laina was performing as Girl and Piano and her friend Jeni Magana was performing in celebration of her new EP: Golden Tongue. The evening turned out to be a wonderfully intimate performance from both artists.
The songs resonated warmly in the dark acoustics of the chapel walls.
The chapel amplified every minute detail of every sound during the performances. Which... also amplified the shutter of my camera, causing me to limit the amount of photos I was comfortable taking.
